Season 7 “Idol” auditions announced

If you think you can be the next Jordin Sparks or Taylor Hicks, you may want to make plans for the Season 7 auditions of “American Idol.” Producers announced Monday the schedule for the auditions. Season 7 premieres in January 2008.

Auditions will be:

July 30 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif.
Aug. 6 at Texas Stadium in Dallas, Texas
Aug. 10 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.
Aug. 14 in Atlanta, Ga. (location TBA)
Aug. 18 at the North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, S.C.
Aug. 22 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla.
Aug. 27 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
