Ruben Studdard goes to court

Ruben Studdard lost his recording contract, and now the Season 2 American Idol winner may be heading to court.

The singer is suing concert promoter Peachez Inc., based in Dallas, Texas, according to a report on TMZ.com. There are few details about the lawsuit, other than Studdard is looking for a whopping $45,000 from Peachez. Studdard alleges breach of contract.

The lawsuit was filed in New York Supreme Court against the company, which is described as a specialty marketing company for the entertainment industry. No further details are available just yet.
