Jordin Sparks visits Jay Leno
Jordin Sparks responds after it is announced Wednesday she is the Season 6 winner of “American Idol.”
Jordin appeared tonight as a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Aside from her appearance, the show also featured a series of jokes about Sanjaya Malakar, Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul, as well as many other points from the show.
Jordin joked “The Tonight Show” was her 48th appearance of the day. That may not have been exactly true, but it was Jordin’s second appearance with Leno in the last couple of weeks.
“I’m feeling really good, actually,” Jordin said.
The show’s youngest winner went on to talk about being a fan of the show since its beginning.
“I’ve been watching this show since it started,” she said. “I voted for Kelly. I loved Ruben and Clay.”
“I remember telling my mom, ‘Mom, that’s what I want to do,’” she said of appearing on “Idol.” “I was just standing on that stage last night, and I remembered telling my mom that.”
Post-”Idol,” Jordin said she’s looking into getting a condominium in Los Angeles, preparing for the summer tour and her debut CD. So, what about a boyfriend?
“I’m not really looking, but, hey, holla,” the 17-year-old joked.
