Let the countdown begin!

There are eight days until the start of a new season, and it should be a good one. “American Idol” kicks off its season with a two-night premiere Jan. 16 and 17 on Fox. Come back to www.watchingamericanidol.com to find regular updates on the current season, as well as interviews with past contestants.

I will bring you opinions, news and other thoughts about the show and its contestants. If at any time you have questions for me, feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line at reed.dunn@451press.net.

    i can’t wait. i love the auditions more than the actual competition. and how about simon cowell having to eat crow about jennifer hudson? i love that!

    I was somewhat disappointed by the primere…not gona lie, it just wanst as good as some of the other shows on the air these days
