Elliott Yamin announces tour dates
His surprising debut proved Elliott Yamin, the third-place finisher of Season 5 of “American Idol,” could be a best-selling artist after all.
Now that his second single, “One Word,” from the self-titled debut is being released, there are even more reasons to go see Yamin in concert. And now the “Idol” standout is making that possible for fans across the country — and beyond. He recently announced a lineup of fall and winter tour dates, which kick off Oct. 5 at Park West in Chicago.

Yamin appeared on Season 6 of “Idol” promoting his first single, “Wait for You,” which has been getting major airplay since the CD was released.
