Some fans of American Idol Season 4 may have been waiting for Jessica Sierra to release a CD. Instead, Sierra is featured in another kind of release Tuesday — her debut sex tape.

Vivid Entertainment is releasing the tape, Jessica Sierra Superstar. The film is the latest in a line of headline-making moments in Sierra’s life. She was arrested in April and again in December, and she currently can be seen on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

While this sex tape certainly isn’t endorsed by Idol, it does show how the series can make a star out of people, even if they don’t win the title. Sierra, while she hasn’t become a successful recording artist, certainly has made a name for herself — even if it’s not a good one.

Sierra was a top 10 finalist on Season 4 of Idol. She was eliminated March 30, 2005, after performing On the Side of Angels.

Jessica Sierra got a little break from jail on New Year’s Eve — but not to celebrate.

The much-talked-about former American Idol finalist was transported from her jail cell in Tampa to a hospital in Brandon, Fla., according to a report posted on gossip site TMZ.com. Sierra, 22, allegedly is pregnant with the baby of a rapper, who has not been identified.

The report says Sierra was experiencing bleeding before being rushed to the Brandon hospital for treatment. Sierra recently was given two years of probation on charges stemming from a Dec. 1 incident at a bar in Ybor City, Fla., where she got into a fight and was thrown out of the bar. She fought with cops and violated her probation from an earlier arrest that resulted in charges of cocaine possession and battery.

Sierra will appear in the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which debuts Thursday.

Jessica Sierra has escaped extended jail time, it appears. A Florida judge today dropped charges relating to a Dec. 1 incident where the former American Idol finalist was kicked out of a bar and later gave police trouble.

The judge gave Sierra 3 years probation and a one-year stint in rehab. (That should be good news for Dr. Drew.)

The early December arrest violated Sierra’s probation from an earlier arrest, when she allegedly threw a glass at a man inside the Hyde Park Cafe. At that time, police found a small amount of cocaine on the singer when they were booking her in jail.

Sierra has been behind bars on no bail stemming from the December charges. The singer also has made headlines recently as the star of a leaked sex tape.

It seems Jessica Sierra is getting in more hot water than with the law.

Gossip site TMZ.com has reported the 2005 American Idol finalist is the star of a sex tape expected to be distributed sometime before Season 7 begins. A still photo from the tape shows the singer naked in a bathtub, holding a cigarette.

This news comes after Sierra’s Dec. 1 confrontation with police at a Tampa nightclub. She was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating conditions of her parole on previous charges of battery and drug possession.

Sierra is expected to remain in jail without bail until her next hearing Dec. 20. She was sentenced in November to 12 months probation for the previous battery and drug charges.

The wannabe Idol had entered a California rehab program this summer, and her treatment was expected to be part of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, an upcoming reality show on VH1.

Less than two weeks after she pleaded no contest to charges of battery of possession of cocaine, Season 5 finalist Jessica Sierra was arrested this weekend in Florida on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating conditions of her parole. The 22-year-old was being held without bond.

The former American Idol top 10 finalist had entered a rehab facility in July that was supposed to be documented in an upcoming VH1 reality show, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Her arrest at 2:10 a.m. Saturday at a bar in Ybor City may change plans.

“As the defendant was taken into custody, she attempted to push away and flee the scene,” arresting officers wrote in a report.

Sierra’s previous trouble with the law was resolved Nov. 19 when she was sentenced to 12 months probation and random drug screening. The singer was accused of hitting a man in the head with a glass at a bar in April. At that time, officers also found cocaine in her possession.

Sierra was eliminated from Idol’s fifth season on March 30, 2005 after performing her rendition of the LeAnn Rimes song On the Side of Angels. The finalist also made headlines after it was uncovered she and fellow contestant Nikko Smith had a short relationship. She also was the target of a 59-year-old California man who left more than 40 voicemail messages telling Sierra he loved her and was willing to go to jail for her.

This summer, she appeared as a guest at the second-annual Reality TV Convention in Nashville, Tenn., where she had been working on new music late last year.

There’s no update on Sierra’s appearance on the Dr. Drew show, which also will feature Daniel Baldwin, Jeff Conaway, Andy Dick and Brigitte Nielsen, according to imdb.com.
