Behind-the-scenes romance?

Season 6 finalist Alaina Alexander is rumored to have made more than friends with fellow finalist Chris Richardson.

After their season, Clay Aiken and Kimberly Locke were roommates. There were rumors in Season 1 of Justin Guarini and winner Kelly Clarkson.

But the latest “Idol” relationship to be rumored is that of Alaina Alexander and Chris Richardson. I’m not sure what to make of such a rumor — Alaina also has been linked to host Ryan Seacrest — especially since this type of thing often comes up year after year.

What many people don’t realize is that the finalists, like many other reality shows, share the same living quarters during taping. So, that makes these types of relationships more likely.
