‘American Idol’ Top 12 hits the streets

They’ve been trapped inside the confines of American Idol auditions and the walls of their own protected-from-the-media world. Until now.

The Season 7 Top 12 contestants were out and about this weekend in Hollywood, caught on tape going to photo shoots and even walking the orange carpet for a movie premiere. That movie is, of course, the kid-friendly Dr. Seuss’ horton Hears a Who. They even had the chance to pose with stars Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy at the event.

So, with less than 24 hours before the beginning of this season’s much-anticipated finals, who is your favorite? Is the title easily going to go to David Archuleta? Some say “definitely.” I say, “not so fast.” There’s far too much talent to make that kind of a prediction.
