‘American Idol’ found David Archuleta in Season 1

If you haven’t seen the video of Season 7 American Idol finalist David Archuleta singing to Season 1 contestants, you’ll definitely want to check this out.

The 11-year-old David goes a little Jennifer Hudson (pre Jennifer Hudson) on Kelly Clarkson, Justin Guarini and the whole bunch. It appears they all seem a little blown away by the little guy’s immense talent — check out Kelly’s response at the end of the impromptu performance.

Archuleta certainly is going to be leading the pack for much of this season (if not taking it all the way to the finale), so get used to hearing the buzz about him.
