‘American Idol’ down to 9
In a not-so-surprising results show, Michael Sarver was voted off the American Idol stage after his Motown Week performance.
There certainly was no doubt Michael was in trouble after Wednesday night’s performance of Ain’t Too Proud to Beg. In more shocking revelations on last night’s results show, Matt Giraud joined Michael and Scott MacIntyre in the bottom three. Certainly, Scott should have been standing center stage. But not Matt.
He survived this week, and Matt’s appearance in the bottom three could end up being a help. His Wednesday night performance was solid, and among the best of the night. That being said, America seeing him in the bottom three could jolt them to remember to vote for multiple singers, not just their favorite. That, in turn, could help Matt throughout the remaining weeks.

Dude when the judges were talking to Lil…David Spade was in the background chewing gum and stuck it under his seat. Check it out on your DVR. I can’t believe nobody else has seen this.
