A win for Blake?

Perhaps you are going through that phase of missing “American Idol.” It’s the first Tuesday since you can remember without Ryan, Paula, Randy and Simon. Just what will you do?

If you’re me, you’ll check out iTunes to see how finalists Jordin and Blake are stacking up. At my most recent check — just a few minutes ago — Blake is winning. Well, at least he is in the No. 4 slot with his version of “You Give Love a Bad Name.”

Jordin is right behind him, though. She’s at No. 5 with “This is My Now.” I find it interesting that the two finalists also can be found at several other spots in the top 100. And that’s not all. Chris Daughtry is at No. 6 with “Home,” and several other “Idol” finalists from past seasons are peppered throughout.

What did we do before “Idol” introduced us to the latest talent?
